Hi everybody. My name is Julie. I’m an Australian living in Los Angeles. A bit about me. I’m an empty nester. Both of my boys are grown and have their own lives. I have 25 year career in banking and finance. I was completely stressed out in a job that I thought that I’d wanted and had been chasing for probably 10 years of my career. I got there and was completely miserable. Fast forward, a friend offered me a position in Los Angeles and I jumped at the chance to live somewhere different and experience a different culture and lifestyle. So here I am.
The job itself is okay, but it’s not fulfilling. So I started kind of looking around at different things and ideas of making an income and being able to work from anywhere in the world. I did an affiliate marketing course that really wasn’t for me. I started doing mortgage broking over here. Again, that’s just rinse and repeat from what I’d been doing for the last 25 years. Property wholesaling, which has been a little hit and miss. Then I stumbled onto Sophie’s video, and I was truly fascinated. It kind of put together my entire career path to date. I’ve always felt like I’m here to mentor and teach people, and this gives me the avenue to be able to do that. I’m still relatively new. I have two book outlines ready to go, and about to launch my first book. So I’m totally excited. So this has the ability to completely change my life and potentially other people by reading the books that I put out. So that’s totally exciting, but it also extends that Ability to work literally from anywhere in the world. So I can stay here in la, go home and be with my boys because I’m missing them dearly, just travel around the world, which is ultimately my dream. And by accumulating all of those experiences, it’ll give me more information to be able to put into book form and sell out to the world. So thank you, Sophie.
