Hi everybody. My name’s Julie. I’m an Australian living in Los Angeles for the last couple of years. Prior to that, I was in banking and finance for 25 years. Got a job that I had been wanting for 10 years of that career. Finally got there and was completely miserable. Fast forward, a friend offered me a job in Los Angeles and I took it. So here I am. The job itself is a little boring, so I started looking around for things that might occupy my mind and give me what I need. I tried mortgage broking, which is rinse and repeat of the banking and finance that I’d been doing for most of my career. I tried an affiliate marketing course that really wasn’t for me. I tried property wholesaling that’s a little hit and miss, and then stumbled across Sophie’s video. It really drew my attention in because I’ve always wanted to write a book and be part of that world, but just didn’t
think of myself as a writer and just never had the time to kind of sit down and put things together.
The video, sorry. The course itself has been amazing in putting all those missing pieces together. And here I am a few months down the track and I’m ready to launch my first book, which is incredibly exciting. I’ve always seen myself as somebody that was put here to mentor, coach, and teach, and honestly, I just think this is the perfect fit for me. So I’m absolutely excited to be on this journey. And the added bonus is I can work from anywhere in the world, anywhere in the world, literally. So that part is totally exciting given that I just love to travel and I love to experience new cultures and new people. So
if you are looking to do this and you are not a hundred percent sure, I would just suggest taking the plunge. Worst case scenario, you’ll learn some new skills. What have you got to lose? Thank you.
