Hi, my name is Peggy Barrett and I live outside Chicago, Illinois. And I joined Sophie’s class because her story spoke to me, her energy as well. And I was similar in a very stressful job and didn’t have time for myself or my family. So my nephew and I wrote a book and we have it published on Amazon. It’s called, we have since changed the name
because we’re going to be re-uploading it on August 21st as a new version of it because of a lot of problems we had come across. But we have solved all of them. It’s a wonderful learning process going through this. The original version that’s on there now is Isabella and Mr. Snuggles Adventures learns about engineering. The new title’s going to be The Adventures of Snuggles and Isabella Learn About Engineering. It’s going to be a series of books and they’re all based around a girl who goes to school for a field trip or goes somewhere a museum or something.
And she has a sidekick cat that kind of steals the show in the books. So it’s kind like cat dog. He’s kind of big and fuzzy, but we have learned a lot about illustrating and putting a pull book together. So we had got the illustrations back, but they didn’t work for Amazon right away. We had to compress the files and we had a lot of problems uploading it. We weren’t happy with the final product. So then I talked to my friend who is an illustrator and graphic designer and he said, yeah, I’d love to get involved. So he is now our illustrator graphic designer, and he has taken the files and made them totally just changed the book 150%. And I’m so excited for August 24, I have a marketing program set up to start to market it, and it’s going to be really exciting. So it is, I’m an Amazon, not a lot of sales, but I have a whole plan to jumpstart this series with this first
