Hi there. My name is Alex. I live in the UK. I’m a full-time Amazon seller. Physical products. We have a private label brand. We also do a lot of retail and online arbitrage, so we’ve been with Amazon since 2017. Back in August, 2022, an advert popped up on my Facebook feed, which was offering information about how to work on KDP and create and sell eBooks.
Obviously, being in the Amazon game, anything relating to Amazon and obviously selling on Amazon is of massive interest, so obviously I watched the entire video and it caught my immediate attention. Now, since 2017, lots changed in the world. We used to get all our stock from China. It used to come over very quickly, within two weeks via air. Obviously since then, inflation, coronavirus, shipping prices, fuel prices, all that sort of stuff has happened, which has kind of changed the dynamics of Amazon FBA businesses.
What I really like about this concept or this idea is that you write a book, you go through the process, through the stages, which is very detailed. It’s outlined in a very detailed way through Sophie’s course. And once you’ve created a book, it’s there forever. You don’t have to restock, you don’t have to pay exuberant shipping prices, you don’t have to get messed around by Chinese suppliers. It’s there. The whole process I find is absolutely fascinating. You learn a lot along the way.
What kind of drew me to this is that I have a family. I have a wife and two children. I’m looking at something which I can grow a passive income. Obviously put the work in now and then obviously just let it grow. We launched our first book in October, and we have had some pretty good sales. We’re not looking at a million pound overnight products. I mean, Sophie doesn’t even say that in the course anyway.
But what I do see, and what I do find very, very attractive about this business model is that it’s very easily scalable. I’d like to just give praise to the course. I had absolutely no idea about how this whole process works. I did the course, I’ve done every single lesson, and it’s a very easy to understand, very detailed, step-by-step process on how to start with your product research, all the way to launching your book and scaling it.
I think it’s been an absolutely fantastic journey. I’m very excited. I have plans over the next two years to launch 50 books. It is a scalable business. It’s a realistic business, and it’s something which is very, very exciting. Thank you, Sophie. Very excited to move forward. Thank you.
