What Sarah Can Say About The Kindle Publishing Income Program

Hi, my name is Sarah Moran, and I’m a teacher from Wisconsin. I learned about Sophie’s course while searching online for a way to successfully publish a book. I was swamped with ideas and information, but did not have a clear plan in place to take my book idea to publication. Publishing, to me, is an extension of teaching, contributing to society in a meaningful way. I had three challenges blocking me from success. Challenge number one, too many ideas and no good way to determine a successful niche. Module three helped me narrow down my ideas into successful, profitable ones. Challenge two, how to write a high-quality book. I needed help turning my outline into a book that people would actually want to read. I did this by gathering a team and outsourcing, hiring a ghostwriter, proofreader, and a book formatter for ebook and paperback. Sophie’s template letters and resource directory were a huge help.

Challenge number three, getting ready to publish. Sophie’s module eight, preparing for publishing on KDP, walked me through the steps I hadn’t even thought, about how to upload a book, selecting keywords, Author Central, and the importance of book categories. I wouldn’t be able to say that I have a publishing company without Sophie’s help. I started in July of 2022, and I now have four books, two in the retirement niche and two cookbooks. Yesterday, I had my best royalties day ever, at over $175. I am ready to start module 9, promotion, and module 10, advertising, and I expect to see an increase in sales. The best investment you can make is in yourself. What are you waiting for?
