Hi, my name is Michelle Holthouse and I live in Australia. I love to write and I was interested in publishing stories, but didn’t know where to start. I was watching YouTube when I saw Sophie’s free introduction to her course, and I thought it sounded a good place to learn. I really like that I can watch the lessons in my own time and have weekly meetings with Sophie. It was really good to identify what was holding me back, and so one day I decided to take the plunge and self-publish my first book. It’s a journal for bees and to monitor their care, and then a journal to record vet visits, and my latest books are how to draw monsters and dogs.
Doing the course helped me gain confidence and take baby steps into the world of publishing. I’m glad that when the course is over, I have lifelong access to the resources. Thank you, Sophie. I feel so much confidence and I feel so much pride in my books. I’m not sure what I’ll publish next. It could be science fiction, nature, or French recipes, or a history book with gladiators. So many ideas to explore and stories to create.
