Hi there. My name’s Fenella and I’m currently enrolled on the Kindle Publishing Income course. I first heard about the course when it came across my feed, and I watched the lovely video of Sophie talking about the course and what a Kindle Publishing business could do for my life. At that time, I’d been a stay-at-home mom for the early years of motherhood, and I was looking at my youngest going off to school and I didn’t want to go back to the job that I was doing before I became a mom, and I was trying to sort of cast around for what felt like a good next step.
I was really… Books have always been my thing, and I was looking for something that I could do flexibly and from home. When I actually took the plunge and bought the course, I was very excited. I have to say, I was also a little apprehensive. I was questioning whether I’d done the right thing, in terms of whether the course was going to… And indeed, the business going forwards, was going to float my boat as much as I thought it might and hoped it would. But obviously, also, I was a little bit apprehensive about whether the course was going to live up to the hype that it had sort of promised.
Oh, my word, did it live up to the hype. There is so much content, so much to learn. I find it really well laid out. So, it really works for me to sort of study, watching the videos in sort of bite-size chunks and to go through the process as I’m watching the videos. And I love the coaching calls. I love the Q&A and the presentations that we get, and just the more I watch, the more I learn. I love doing all the, sort of, research and the keyword “research” and looking for the niches. And I am really excited because I am currently two months away, I would say, from… Probably not even two months… About a month away from publishing my first two books.
And yeah, I’m just really inspired about what the future holds. It’s given me a real sort of confidence boost as well, knowing that I’m doing something that I’m really passionate about and something for myself, and something that is going to be sort of mine. I’m not working for somebody, I’m working for myself. So yeah, watch this space. It remains to be seen how successful I’m going to be, but I am very, very hopeful.
And to anyone who is kind of looking at the course, wondering, “Is this right for me?” If you have a passion there and you are ready to learn, then this is definitely an opportunity to sort of align those two things, your passion and your ability to learn something new and do something different with your life. So yeah, I would definitely recommend taking that plunge. Thanks very much.
